Keys

HERE are any number of web sites out there about the Popes. Some are more informational than others; some are biased one way or another; some are just plain ugly. So why another site about the Popes? The one thing that the other sites we've seen all share is a pronounced tendency towards a common writing style verging on droning tedium blah blah blah.

In other words, they're boring.

The history of the Papacy over the last 2000 years has been many things, but it's never been boring. So grab the beverage of your choice, pull up an easy chair, and get ready to meet the saints, the scoundrels, the successors to Peter.

NOTE: This site, like so much of the internet, is under construction. Right now, there's a huge gap in Papal biographies from the IXth to the XXth centuries, as well as a smattering of other blank spots throughout the site. Please bear with us. Two thousand years is a long time to cover, and we're doing the best we can.
